City & Emotion

The modern city has long been the object of affection, frustration, and fascination for artists. It is a complicated organism, defined as much by its inhabitants as by its architecture and infrastructure. Beyond the brick and mortar, a city also exists in the abstract - as a monument to the past, a record of present, and a proposition for the future.

The contrasting part of our visual cortex is responsible for interpreting the motion of the object and contrasting it with the light rather than the color, that is, mixing two different colors but the same brightness, but the other part of the visual cortex will distinguish the color. Contrast rather than blending them together, when the two visual processing methods work at the same time, there is the effect of Van Gogh in the Impressionist School - capturing the movement.
